When i saw that shining bamboo stalk
and a baby the size of my thumb,
everyday i had a piece of gold
and i had problems no more.

but you gave him the brew of life.

COLOSSUS OF RHODES (THE SUN)

After centuries of many abuses,
we didnt know the freedom's mean.
We flooded the bay outside the wall
to keep the enemies far away.


They were double as our folks,
our sea was red as blood.
To celebrate the victory
we raised a statue for our god.
